YOUNG SCIENTIST AWARD


The aim of the prize has been to recognize outstanding young professionals from around the world and reward their research in the field of protozoology.

Eligibility:

1. Candidates shall be under the age of 35 on July 10, 2005.

2. Candidates shall be employed by a university department or a non-profit organization.

3. The paper must be solely authored by the candidate and the candidate must also have taken a principal role in the performance of the research.

Entry Procedure:

Please send the written materials to ICOP@fimmu.com when your registration form is submitted. Submissions for the Award MUST be accompanied by payment of registration fees.

1. Abstracts must be submitted via the Congress website (http://www.congress.com.cn/icop/AbstractSubmission.htm) by February 28, 2005 at the latest and no new submissions for the award will be accepted after this date. Please mark the appropriate option in the internet registration form.

2. A full CV with all publications, conference presentations and summary of accomplishments in protozoological research.

3. A recommendation letter from the applicant's supervisor.

4. The applicant's nationality and date and place of birth.

Winners of the award will be announced and certificates will be presented at an appropriate ceremony. The awarded young scientists will be given time to present their work to the congress.
